Our long time forum member Bob D. (La) passed away last Wednesday.
I know several of us had mentioned recently that he hadn't been heard from in a good while. I had left messages on the only number I had for him, and received no email reply's from messages for quite a while. I had sat down today on the computer and for some reason I googled him and found this. I really enjoyed Bob, we had many a long visit at the shows we crossed paths at. I know he was a very religious man and I have no doubts as to where he's at. I sure hope there's some Orange in heaven for him to tinker with!
God Bless ya Bob!

this link has fought me, so you may have to cut and paste it

One of the good people I met through this forum. I met him at the Portland GOTO in the early 2000s. We ran the threshers with our tractors and enjoyed each other's company but I hadn't talked to him for probably 10 years

Bob stopped by my shop several years ago headed to of from Portland Indie show. Had a grandson with him. We talked for quite some time. Left with a few parts for his G. Seemed like a great guy! RIP Bob!
No greater gift than healthy grandkids!

Thank you for sharing this, Joe. I had the privilege of meeting Bob a number of years back at the GOTO in Tennessee. He was a great man and loved our LORD.
Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God.
