For 4X shirts for the next several weeks so can get out of the house.  Tomorrow is a Red Letter day, surgery for first arm, Left side, Cubital Tunnel.  Two weeks in a fixed non removable splint(Cast Like) wearing a sling to hold it, to shower it will be bagged.  Then 8/4 will decide whether or not time to remove and add a Forearm/Wrist Splint so can return to moving elbow.  A Few weeks of PT and healing then repeat all the above on Right Arm.  Praying the issues of losing feeling in sections of my hands improves.

Meantime 8/8 steroid shots BOTH Shoulders as they are screwed royally.  Another game of in-betweens.

Last up had a steroid injection Friday, Right side Tailbone (Sacrum) to Right hip Paddle joint (Sacrum Iliac) where has been found to be slipping or that joint cartilage torn.  Another Doc looking to perform a Fusion Surgery there once we Dot all the Is and Cross all the Ts for the insurance bustards.  Shot had essentially no effect as of this morning, was miserably yesterday.

This arthritis stuff is for the birds, I have it in both shoulders and in my fingers. Get cortizion shots in finger joints about once a year to get them to stretch so they will bend

Shot to SI joint has laid down, three days and done.  Today was elbow work, prepped at 9:30,  surgery at 10:15, out of anesthesia 11:15, ate at Bob Evans, wife stopped for gas, back home 2:00.  So far so good, but feel worthless in not being able to do much.

I know the feeling, I had back surgery in January of 1986 and was only allowed to lay or stand only setting was long enough to eat not allowed out for 2 weeks till my next doctor appointment then was still not to set other than eating, wasn't allowed to go back to work till May. That was the longest time doing nothing.

Fifth day on elbow, not ever needed any form of pain med.  Is in a fiberglass half shell splint and wrapped, told NOT to unwrap before next Friday, NOT to wash it, keep dry and sent AI style gloves to shower with.  Sling kept bugging me so it is on a chair.

Still on PT for R SI joint and not interfering with that.

Went to eye doc Tuesday, set up for a new form unique gas permeable contact for my left eye, with the test lens could read 20/25 clearly.  All manner new and improved prosthetics for the damages we have to carry these days.  Lens should be in week of 8/7.

To and Back from Columbia Orthopaedic, Bandages off, steri strip tapes off (3/8" wide), suture out and a little cleaning.  Passed inspect by doc and in a wrist brace currently.  Never hurt except as rolled over on the elbow sleeping, was WIDE awake at that point on second day.  Been ten days since surgery have full arm swing, full close, hand and finger movement is fine, numbness gone, and grip strength according to doc is excellent.  Second turn for right side is scheduled 8/28.

Really different, bandages I expected after 10 days to be really "ripe", but nothing.  The nurse noted they perform surgery with antiseptic wash and application where they apply a Antibiotic, Anti microbial and almost a second skin type liquid material a wound bandage then gauze then the splint then the elastic full wrap, nothing for stink makers to live on.  As washed up, the orangish material balled up and rolled off, hand and arm clean.

Been ten days, Arm feels good except for a nagging Adhesion internally that will just not release.  Small area of numb on forearm but all feeling in fingers is fully back.

Another two weeks and be back on the slab for the other arm, then ten days for bandage removal.

Ugliest concern currently, is a dentist visit.  Been going to this office a couple years never expected these determinations.  Last year had a three tooth Porcelain bridge fail (second Time) so was to be replaced WARRANTY just my cost for the replacement "Special material" bridge, ended up at ESTIMATED $1500, paid that then received a $2500 bill a few months later, "Unresolved Charges".  Paid it as nothing in writing not relieving, was thinking MAYBE with some added fillings was that bill.  Well SIX Months later get a cleaning, EVERY Filling they placed is Corrupted, NOT the teeth the Fillings, they threw down Acidic Mouth which does not justify, kept trying to get me to say drank tons of Soda, gave that up Decades Ago.  Handed my a estimate and a script to go to a mouth surgeon for a root canal as one is too close to just re-fill.  Likely be Three Root Canals, estimate has FIVE Crowns, that SAME Bridge has to come off as spotted some corruption in Xray under it, $5600 THEIR fees.

So this week, will see that oral surgeon, for a estimate, then have appointment with Wife's dentist office to see if they concur.  As far as I am concerned I am OLD, NOT Vain, teeth do NOT have to be Pretty just functional enough to eat with.  IF the costs are that high and teeth that bad, gonna price Dentures.  Too late for Old Man Teeth in my head.  Spend $5 grand on man mades and be done with these people until die.  Grands ALL had them, Dad had Them, inlaws BOTH had them, and they managed just fine, I can as well.

Like when grandpa Jay’s feet would itch. He’d ask grandma to scratch HER feet. Both of his legs were cut off by a train!

Gas Perm contacts correct astigmatism, however, if you go to get your eyes cheeked for new glasses, don't wear the contacts for 3 days prior as the shape of your eyeball will affect the prescription. (costly mistake on my part).  I got a new dentist, (she bought out the old dentist), second cleaning she comes up with all this work I need done, told her I haven't ever seen a trophy on a tombstone for Best teeth in the Cemetery and I don't plan to be the first.  Now I gotta find a new dentist.
Maximum use of available resources!

Received Contact today, 20/25 in ten minutes wear time!!  Eye is doing so well my brain started putting the Left one as Dominant!
All too good I know, but the lens is Not a Correction for astigmatism or vision, just to replace the outer curve of the cornea as it has Near, Far and Normal all in one, fluid filled lens is set, rests about 3/32 out from cornea on White of the eye.  Scares me works so well.  Is also called a Prosthetic similar to a Limb replacement and covered as such under Insurance.

Then off to Second Opinion Dentist.  Full set x-rays, even a 3D full wrap around.  Other Dentist was running me as a money pit.  Have TWO abscesses need to Be Extracted, both Upper rears, then noted that her estimate could NOT be completed as the front four she wanted to Crown will not have enough stub to do that and if would have those would have broken off soon after.

This shops estimate, seven, possibly eight fillings fixing that last shop screwups at gum line lowers, pull Upper back Right tooth with Abscess and remediate, pull remaining Right back teeth(3).  Move to L Upper rear, remove five rear one which is abscessed, make Dental Mold to form Upper Denture.  in two to three weeks, return & upper front six come out then "Immediate" temp denture goes in.  Wear that near to one year, keeping cleaning program on lowers, re-bed the Immediate Denture until Gum Stabilizes(two or three fits) then fit Permanent Denture, better teeth, better base, due to degradation in Jaw Bone from that Last dentist dicking around with the last Abscessed tooth cannot have implants or a Pin clipped denture.

Less than the previous gold digger $7500 she had quoted for repairs, $5600 with all the above at this shop, And STILL Have my own lowers for awhile.

If you guys get shirts off Amazon that are made in China, you need to get them at least 2 sizes bigger than you normally wear. I've had to send some back.
