I noticed a small split in the oil line running from the oil pressure guage to the block could tat explain low oil pressure?

If that crack is leaking enuf to cause a drop in your oil pressure (assuming your tractor is producing good oil pressure) you would have one heck of a mess all over the side of the block. If you have a crack in the line and it is not leaking, you definitely have very low pressure for some other reason.

You can still get the lines from agco. I bought one of the smaller lines - oil filter to head with new nuts and it was under $20.

I bought an oil line in a package at Advance Auto Parts. It comes in a roll with a bunch of fittings. About $12.00. I needed to run an new line on the D15 to the oil gauge and all of the fittings that I needed were in the pack, including the 1/4" pipe to oil line compression. Bob
