The pump is the same but I think the 45 had something different about the design of the internal linkage in the rear housing. It effects the draft control.Don't quote me.

Is the WD and the WD45 hydraulic pumps the same? Or are there some differences?
Thanks |

Not to hard to remove. when you take it apart do it some where clean that will contain the check balls. I use an old 1/2 sheet baking pan. its just springs, ball bearings and floating valves. no orings and only two gaskets. clean it out real well and check for broken springs. You'll need to get the springs from AGCO. the 5/16" piston spring costs as much as the rest combined. when you put it back on compress the piston plungers and stick a 8p mail in the slot to hold them down. if you tie saftey wire to the head its easy to remove them after the pump is repositioned where it belongs.

Norm--do you sell a general repair kit? Ours use to lift well a year ago, then gradully lifted very slowly, now it will not lift any weight at all.
tks Kirk (note--it does lift itself without a load)

Like norm said the pump will come up inside the frame rail. Did you try turning the "D" screw in and then back out first. That will sometimes relieve the pump and will start pumping again.
