Would anyone know an automotive crossover for the front wheel studs on a WD45? I'm missing a couple, and the guys at the auto parts store are not very helpful when I tell 'em that they're from a 1955 AC WD45! The studs are 1/2" NF, 1" long with a relieved shoulder to tighten against the wheel.

For anyone else looking, those (ABC397) are for the rear wheels. The front wheel lug studs are smaller: ABC399 on Steiners' site.

So are you needing some studs? I am sure local salvage yard has them, or I have some I could sell you? How many do you need?

Yup - I could borrow a couple from my D14 - it uses the same studs.

I ran a 1/2-20 thread chaser onto one of mine yesterday.....don't think they're metric.

an old dude that I bought my chevy allis from had scads of them bolts. so maybe that's why he had them. I puts them in my bolts cabinet, but haven't used any for years.

Ted, the vendors on here carry them - at least Steiners does. I gotta believe that they were commonly used back when wheels were bolted on with studs rather than sliding them onto studs as we do now.

I ran all the studs through a thread chaser and ditto for the hub holes. Mounted the wheels with two new tri-rib tires. The 'ol machine is starting to feel spoiled!
