Anybody know where I can get the correct fasteners for the lid on my WD45's battery box? I am missing two of them and can't find any locally.
Also is there somebody on here that makes the snap coupler release lever for the WD45? I found the chain to mine down in the barn, but the lever is nowhere to be found. Thanks for any help. |

the battery box should have acorn nuts on it. These are usually available in a hardware store in the trays of boxes of nuts, bolts, electrical parts etc. Bob

Acorn nuts are the correct ones, and available at most hardwares, however, I prefer wing nuts, also available at local hardware store and far more practical

You may need to go to a True value or similar store instead of the big box stores

I agree with Lou...I prefer the wing nuts. Probably because I always seem to be robbing the battery out of them or they run down,etc....lot easier to take apart! LOL! Rick

I haven't had the lid off in over eight years and that was to replace a bad battery. I have never had to jump it off since. Its a AC. :) |
