![]() Finally got around to replacing all the bushings in the suspension of my WD. Replaced both ends of the shock bushings and the pivot point at the right hand brake cover. Nice and steady now, no more rocking side to side lol. Even the little things make a big difference. |

back when they were new crop cultivation was common an offset seat let the operator have a better view of the front mounted cultivators, that's why the B and C had wide seats you could slide over to have a better look at what your digging.

Would the roto baler pickup being on the left side been a factor? Been more convenient to look to the left

Roto Baler and also the All Crop combines being on the left is a factor from what I've read. I like raking with a WD too.

I did some corn chopping with Allis chopper to fill silos using the WD45's, and the offset seat position and controls actually work very well for the operator. Spent many hours on them with other farm work too. They feel a little less ergonomically friendly to get on and off as we approach 70!

I agree 100%, but still not as hard to get on and off as the B, C and CA.

Hi. What is the foot pedal used for? Is it a foot throttle and if so, how is the mechanism hooked up to it? LOL, curious minds. Ross D.
