Drained oil out of differential and pto housing. Want to refill now so is everything filled by filler plug next to hydraulic dipstick. There is another plug farther back towards the differential also. What is it for? Do you just fill to plug level or is there another way to check level?
Thanks

FILL THEM BOTH FULL !!! with the same kind of oil.  You should have removed three drain plugs starting at the PTO box and work to the rear. Takes about 4 gallons total.

Those 2 plugs cover the same lube level but if you try filling through just one,it will take a long time because of a separate wall supporting shafts inside and the oil has to trickle through bearings. Fill to top then plug. You can safely use modern trans/hyd fluid with 821 specs.
