So I went to look at a WD45 with a young man that has caught orange fever from me. Trouble is when we got there it was a WD with WD45 decals. It was a decent looking tractor, straight sheet metal, decent tires and converted to 12 volt. The catch is it's been living under a tarp and hasn't been run in years. We didn't look at it very close since Chris has his heart set on a WD45.

However I've been thinking, I could use a set of rear tires for my WD, he was asking $800 for it, assuming it's not stuck do you think I could buy it, swap my tires and wheels and resell it (hopefully running) for close to what I'd have in it? I really don't have the heart to part out or scrap a complete tractor and the last thing I need is another project.

Hey Dave, if your wanting to do the switch, go back with a crank handle to see if its's stuck or not. Ask more ?'s how long it set, orig. owner or selling it for someone, ser.# etc, etc. If it 's stuck, offer $350-$400, make the switch, sell it  for the same. All your out is your time, but you've got an upgraded set of tires.
Oh well, I won't do that again!

Keep in mind if it has been sittting for 8-10 years or so, those tires might not be any better than the ones you have. sitting in 1 spot is hard on tires, they like to rot on the bottom.
Unless your are the lead horse the scenery never changes!!
