Does anyone one here know where to purchase a pivot bolt for a wide front WD? Thanks again.

What do you mean by the pivot bolt ?? The rear pivot has a castle nut on it, but the threaded portion is welded to the axle frame. The front pivot is also welded to the axle and it isn't a bolt.

The actual rear pivot point is a welded part of the axle framework. Either weld it up and grind it down to size or cut it out and replace it with a 3/4" bolt with the head removed.

I fixed one of my WD's by cutting off the "bolt", then, welding a new 7/8" in its place. then on the support I found a 3 point bushing, I think it was a top2-3 bushing,, not sure,, just got the one that was 7/8" I.D. fitted and welded it in the support, ground to length,, only boo boo I done was I didn't get the cotter pin hole drilled in the right place in the new "bolt"... I jus lock nutted it... has worked good so far,, took biggest part of an afternoon to get it done,, for some reason the front pivot wasn't too bad...

I welded and ground, ground and welded, filed, rested, filed some more and after only 3 or 4 hours......done. Front pivot "rod" looks good. Thank God.

Drill and tap a hole for a grease fitting while you're down there. This time it'll last 100 years instead of 50.
