My good buddy Joe Murphy e-mailed me a owners manual for the farm crane, that I found a couple of weeks ago. Mine is missing a part that I am trying to understand the function of. In the parts book, it is part #3 #702285 Link Assembly; #2 #220965 Lift Crank Pin; and #1 #702276 Ram Pin. It apparently hooks from the crane to the lift cylinder, but I don't understand what it's function is? Can anyone that has one help me out here. Dave.

It increased the lifting capacity. Can't remember by how much.

Because of the increased leverage, it would raise to 77 inches vs 33 w/o and increased lifting capacity from 800 to 1400#'s.....I have the literature and sales brochure for this option. It is also saved on my computer somewhere. Like a copy if I find it? Dale Orangereborn 964 192nd Ave New Richmond, WI 54017 715-247-3079 715-781-2055 |

My understanding is/was that it would increase the lift capacity, would not increase the height. I repoed that crane and never tried fabing parts to connect for more lift capacity. When installed to my tractors, it memory serves correct, it was 12-16" off ground in lower position, about 70-75" in full up.
