In general, does the WD have enough guts to pull a single chisel plow with a plug behind it to create a drainage tunnel??

Just out of curiosity, is a single chisel plow with a plug the same thing as a subsoiler with a mole?

My guess is it would do ok down to about 18-20 inches. And it will depend on the soil. I assume your working in clay as that is what your typically trying to drain with one of these units. It may make the old WD snort a little. Front might be a little light?:) Need pictures when you get going. I think there are pictures of guys using these on here in a thread. Might search subsoiler or chisel plow??

My #4 subsoiler with mole will give my WD45  all it wants to handle when set at about 18 inches deep in most all soil types in second gear and some times have to down shift into first.

Had to throw a big bag of sand on the front of the hood when I did it 44 years ago! Fixed the drainage problem , tho!!
sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"
