You can use a torch, but be careful of a couple things.   One, there is mouse nests galore in there, so you will most likely have a small fire so be prepared.   Also, when you are cutting the pin, cut it straight and not on an angle so that you don't accidentally cut the lower ears on the brakes.   I learned the hard way after ruining one set of mine.   cut out a piece, hammer the pin in till it hits the other part, repeat until the outer part of the pin is gone.   Usually the inner pin you can take a needle nose visegrips and clamp on and pull it in, as this one isn't the part that is seized.   Once done you can buy a new set of pins, of make your own.   A little antiseize on the new pins will help the next guy 50 years from now.   Good luck.

Thats what I was afraid of. I was hoping there was another way. I will give it a try, hard to say how long it has been since the pin has been out.   Thanks for all the help

A safe but slower method is to drill out the center of the pin as much as you can then heat the hell out of it with a heating tip. Drilling it out to a thin wall reduces the amount of steel to heat. The drive in and cut method only works when it's loose. Mine was not even after all of the tricks had been applied.

The pin freezes up on the outside pin boss where it starts thru the diff housing.  If you can the the torch tip close where the pin boss and pin are and heat there you stand a fair chance of loosening it.  Its hard to get the torch head positioned where you want it cause there isnt much room and you cannt see it.   One time I had a pin frozen up on the brake band housings-that one had a lot of mouse nest in it.  Good luck
