I recently bouught a wc ser nub wc77072. Engine was stuck but broke loose with pipe wrench on front of crank. It will run with starter engaged but dies when it kicks out. Also gas runs out bottom of carb when it is fireing. Any help would be appreciated.

Ya jus might want to do a compression check.
Probly stuck rings and or stuck valves. Probly valves and valve seats are pitted. If not pitted the valves that were open while setting could have a build up of rust keeping them from closing.
