Good Morning everyone,
I Just Bought a AC Model WC Tractor SN# 74328, The Tractor is Partially Styled, Styling didn't begin until 74330... Any Info? My Engine Number is W25773K  What can Anyone tell me about this tractor?? I Paid $200, The rear rims are Cast Centers, Steel Rims, fronts are Pressed steel, Some say that the sheet metal has been changed, But i dont know. Anyone else have Actual Info about this tractors & the #'s? without Personal opinion or guessing??

Thank you,

If the chassis s/n is 74000.....the engine s/n should be more than 74000, as there was always more engines built (for other things) than tractors. Engine or rear axle has been changed out.

Its a nearly 80 year old tractor.  Who knows what has been done to it to keep it going.  On a side note, it is interesting to have one with a serial number so close to the unstyled/styled changeover.

Hi David

Welcome to the Allis Chalmers Forum. Lots of good info available here.

All you have to do is ask.

There is a Serial Number Reference section on this Forum.

WC were built from 1933 to 1948. Yours would be a 1938.

Also there is an Owner Registry on this Forum for AC Tractors by Model Number.

There are 738 WC presently registered.

Here is a link to some Specs. on the WC:

If this is the one  that was pictured on facebook, it has definitely been "put together". The gas tank supports and engine are from an unstyled tractor. The Tractor number is an unstyled number . The sheet metal and rear wheels are from  a styled tactor.
