Locally there is a tractor guy who does them for $75-$100, but I'm not sure if elsewhere an electrical repair shop would do them or not?

it depends on the condition of your two caps and the coil inside.  if they can get buy just putting a set of points in it and cleaning it up my guy does it for $50.  but if your cap is bad and your coil you are looking more like $200.  i have good used ones and rebuilt ones for sale.  if you are interested contact me.  i will be driving through your area in two weeks.

K - If you are in a local club, ask around.  I do repairs for local people and people in our club.  Repair cost can vary greatly depending on the mag condition.  -  AL
