I finally got it running but here is is my question, I finally had to but the dot on the cam shaft at the line on the crank shaft to get it to run. Why is that? shouldnt it be the line on the crank with the line on the cam gear for proper timeing? Dan

I can't remember what the marks looked like on the WC.  I must not have taken a picture of that when I did my WC, that was my first one and now I try and take pictures of every thing.  The service manual says to align the straight marks on each gear together.  Was there compression when you had it that way?
