Just buy new. There are kits available, but you usually end up breaking the impeller when trying to rebuild. New pump is about $120

We have new for $110. Rebuild kits have just about disappeared for these. Pretty easy to just install a new unit and be done. By the time you buy the rebuild kit and run into any problems you are far ahead to go with a new unit.

Kinda on topic. My dad says our 1950 WD has its original water pump in it still. Is that common with other owners?? Whats bad is as soon as you brag about anything, you know what happens next!! Ryan
