    Posted: 11 May 2020 at 8:53pm
I received a call today from a 83 yr old man in MD who has acquired a Allis C with a sickle mower and the previous owner ran it hot and he thinks it's stuck.  He is in need of a crank and a service manual, he admitted to having worked on many cars but never a tractor.  If someone would be able to contact him I know he would appreciate it a lot. He has a cell phone but no computer.  Please call him if you can help 301.606.5372 or 301.799.9048 he is in Keekysville MD.

Keedysville is just over the other side of the mountain from me. I tried to call and only got his voice mail.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

I tried to call his cell phone ( the 606 local exchange) and only got his voice mail. Angry Why can't people with a cell phone in their pocket answer their damn PHONE? Confused I wouldn't mind going over tho take a look and point him in the right direction of what he needs, The little engines are my specialty).  The AGCO part number he needs for a service manual is; 79003403

Darrell should call him and have him call you. He's 83 and probably doesn't answer phone #'s he doesn't recognize. Maybe he don't know how to answer messages left either, might be the phone has to be right there, feel it or hear it ring to answer it then and there. I have a cheap cell phone, it's basically just a life line. Few people ( count em on one hand have the#).
