    Posted: 28 Oct 2017 at 8:14am
Posting for my father in-law who is in CA. He has a series 3 D10 and has a right side axle housing that is cracked. The local welding shops are not quite sure they want to tackle repair so we are looking for a replacement. He has had the tractor for some time and hates to replace it.

Any and all leads appreciated.

Thanks!

I might have one from an I-40/400 here, I will have to search for it. I am pretty sure they are the same. I am near Spokane WA

I checked the Allis Parts Catalog.

L/H Final Drive is different from R/H.

D-10 Left and Right are different from D-12's.

He will need a D10 rear housing.  CA's are different.

D10's are shorter than D12's, both are 6 bolt

I40 and I400 are based on the D10 Series III and have 8 bolt rear wheel flange instead of a 6 bolt flange as opposed to the D10 or D12 all series which have a 6 bolt flange.

Eldon, I possibly have the I40/I400 axles you are thinking about.  I haven't used them as my needs changed shortly after I got them from you.
