Went to the Fanetti open house today.  Sure was something to see in one location.  I took this picture though that I thought was kind of neat.  The view from the driver's seat on the 6070.  Sure hope it goes to a good home.

Thank you. For those of us who will only dream of sitting in the last AC tractor ever built, this is a great picture. I'll save it on my computer screen wallpaper. Then, each day I power up my computer, I'll get to look down the 6070's clean orange hood.

That's on my bucket list now! Sit in the last A-C tractor made.

Awesome photo!

This may be a dumb question, but I thought the 6000 series were Fiats, not actual A-C?

So amazing and hard to believe. I was tempted to buy a plane ticket from ny to go to this auction. I saw the video on YouTube.

Junior and I.

I have a reprint of the article from The Milwaukee Journal, from when the plant closed. There is at least one picture of the last Allis rolling down the line. Now I can take this picture and hang it right next to it.

Is it true those decals on the engine side panels are just magnets over the actual A-C decals? I heard once the Deutz decals on all A-C tractors were just magnets, and many farmers removed them once the warranty ran out.

They weren't magnets. I was 12 years old in 1985 and can remember seeing where removing the Deutz Allis decal took off some of the Allis Chalmers decal under it.

Nothing very high yet, except the 220FWA @$60,500. The last tractor made is only $16,500. It is sure to get fast and furious from here on out. Guess I am the goat for saying it could bring $250,000.

Magnets do not stick to fibreglass panels very well!  They are decals with some poor quality adhesive (fortunately).  The DA decals were removed before I got my 6080, but you can still see what was covered...

Magnets don't work well on fiberglass. 6000 and 8000 tractors had fiberglass panels.

What was the original approximate sale price of this AC 6070 back in 1985?
