I want to insert a link to a YouTube video but the "Insert Link" feature doesn't seem to get it done. Is there a trick to this?

Thanks!

Here's the  process I used (per CTucker):

1. In YouTube, click Share.
2. Copy the url that appears.
3. In your post, click on the 'film strip' icon
4. Paste url into the box that opens up; delete everything from the last '/' to the LEFT.

For example.....for the video posted above, here's the 'Share' url: https://youtu.be/meT23XhY1NQ

Here's what you paste into the video dialog box: meT23XhY1NQ

Hope this helps!

Hey Dave,,,do you HAVE to post your video on youtube in order to upload it ? Just curious if you can upload straight from your phone or camera to the site using the green  icon that looks like a ladder or window above,,,???

Good question! I don't know if you can load videos directly to this site, but you might need to use the YouTube facility since videos tend to be large and the Forum doesn't like large files.
