My brother has an 875 Versatile with the 855 na cummins in it. My question is if we add a turbo will the trans/ drivelines take the extra hp and how many hp will a turbo add. He bought a bigger ripper recently and either needs a bigger horse or up the power on the one he has. Thanks, Dean

875 should have a turbo, 280 eng hp. the drivetrain will take more, but the later 895's had a bigger clutch, and axles/final drives. 895's were rated at 310hp.

Ed your right about the turbo. Still wondering about turning up the power to 3-320hp. Will the drivelines take more power or is it better to bite the bullet and get a bigger horse.

there were lots of 850's & 875's (280hp stock) running in the wheat fields of eastern colorado set at 350hp. Just like an XT, dont load it down with weight, just use the power to pull smaller equipment faster. It will be fine. Very durable, and all repairable.
