My neighbor has between 100 and 150 bales ground up every year. I don't know his cost for doing this. Has anyone on here had any experience with the Vermeer 5000, 6000, or 7000 series bale processors? I don't know which series it is, they have 1 coming up for sale at a consignment auction at the end of the month. He has no internet access and I told him I would ask and show him the answers. Thanks everyone.

Tom, I would go on to the Hay Talk Forum and ask that question.

There are a number of different areas you can ask that question.  You will have to get a username and password to post, just like on this forum.

We have an older one at the farm it works great handles the 5x6 baled easily. This one came from a landscaping company so it's had very few bales. Another nieghbor bought a used one had to replace bars on the feeder chain it had a lot of bale run through it. There actually fairly simple machines.
