Just for reference, a running B would be from $800 - 1500.  You might get more if it is really nice and someone is really interested, but that's about the "average".  A G can bring about $1000. MORE than a B if it looks and runs good.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

if the photo is on your desktop, you cant drag and drop onto this page.. Instead of typing a response in the box at the bottom of the page, look at the "POST REPLY" button after the last post... Click on that, then click on the box that looks like a TREE in the arrangement of icons ... This will come up with a box that says something like " download your photo from where"... and you can search you computer and download and STORE IT on this site... Then you can post it here.

Or you can upload your photos to a 3rd party and then paste them here... But you cant paste directly FROM YOUR COMPUTER.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I am trying to post pictures of my Allis G and B as suggested.  I have them saved as Jpegs but can't get them to upload.  Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong?

A lot will depend upon where you are located also. Good luck.
Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!

I have two antique Allis-Chalmers tractors.  One is a B the other is a G.  My grandfather purchased the G brand new in the early 1940s.  The G has two hopper bins for planting and the full array of cultivators and feet.  It is by far the best gardening tractor ever made.

I am considering putting both up for sale.  Both machines have good metal, decent paint and the tires are good and inflated.  However, they have not been cranked in some time.  I am working on each and plan to get them running.  The engines turn over easily.  I have taken the carbs off and cleaned out the gas tanks.  I have the carbs soaking as I write this message.

The value of these machines varies greatly on the internet and I can't find an NADA or Kelly Blue Book to determine the value of the tractors.  Can anyone provide me with a resource for pricing vintage tractors and/or give me your opinion as to what these machines are worth?  Thanks.
