Don't know what it is worth, but I would not sell mine for $1500.

Hate to say it, but for a 517 loader in good shape with all the valves, and pump a grand is a pretty good price!

I have a 519 loader on my D19, and I have a 445 loader with the front pump for a WD45, I don't have it on yet, but I am with John, I would not sell either for $1500.  They are very handy, and you do not see them too often.

I gave $800 for my 500 series loader 8 years ago, still NOT on tractor as I type, 1K$ seems like a good price, what would a "new" aftermarket cost? 3-4K$??

If your loader is still for sale, I'd pay $2k delivered.

Price is very good.  Mine has the wide bucket, seems harder to find.

Also in 2010 I had my cylinders rebuilt, three of them got new rods.  The shop I went to is not the cheapest, cost me $800.00  Something to take into consideration especially if the cylinders are pitted or bent or ??????

If it has brackets for your tractor, has not been welded and the cylinders are good then $1000 to 1500 is a very good deal.
A 500 series uses tractor hydrualics I've had one on a gas XT, one on a series IV D17 and my current one on a 200.
A 400 series has it's own pump and a hyd resivor in the frame.
It's a perfect loader on a D17 thru 185 sized tractor but a little light for the 200.
