Just a quick update... As most of you experienced, we too here in michigan got a good blast of winter a couple weeks back. Snow was deep for this area, and we focused on diggin out for the next 2 days. The ol' picker had been in a barn for about 5 years now. She has just been collecting dust. We did get a good thaw here before this last 8" of snow, and this gave us an opportunity to go get the picker. So thats where we are at right now, one heap of scrap iron in a trailer! (joking). This has been a long project in years since we bought the picker, but its cool to see it come together now. Hopefully in the next couple weeks she will be on the tractor, if not, it could be another 1-2 months depending on how the maple syrup season goes and how much spare time there is left. One thing is for sure, I am ready for winter to travel back to canada!

If that elevator is any indication that picker is in pretty decent shape.
