Neither does the generator... You have a 100 amp alternator on your truck.. Driving down the road at 60 MPH is it putting out 100 amps ?  NO... OUTPUT is not SPEED related ... it follows the DEMAND.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Pretty sure Wayne was joking, just like I was with the car backing out of the garage.

You ever figure all them excited electrons need to go somewhere and in DC they are all going in the same direction so they just back up and create heat .
Now in AC them electrons are moving in both directions and looking for a outlet to their travels - ever notice when you get a shock from AC it seems to cycle back and forth .
That is the electron interfering with with neutrons within your body .
Big thing is if you get more than one shock from same causes it's because the MORONS have taken over your thinking and judgement .
Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

Perhaps one way to think about it is to use the  comparison of a water system to an electrical system in a low tech perspective.

In a water system the plumbing is always "pressurized", but water doesn't flow until a valve is open.  So, without a valve open, the water doesn't go anywhere, (not including any losses).  It's in the system waiting for a demand.

Similarly, in an electrical system the wires are always "energized", but the electricity doesn't flow until a demand is activated.  So, without a demand, the electricity doesn't go anywhere, (not including any losses).  It's in the system and waiting for a demand.

Don't confuse my personality with my attitude.
My personality is who I am. My attitude depends on who you are.
