Has anyone out there attempted to convert a twine baler over to a wire tie? I was wondering if it would be as simple as changing out the knotters, but I am guessing such is not the case. I've been scouring the country looking for a wire tie AC baler but haven't had any luck in the last three months (barring the one that was rusted out and still had a 2500.00 price tag on it) Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed. Or any leads to a wire tie Allis baler would also be warmly welcomed :)
Thanks!

On my 303 wire baler I believe the needles are different for a wire tie plus the wire box holder differs than a twine holder and the wire routes in differently to the twisters than twine does to the knotters.  I had been look for one myself for several years and got lucky and another forum member here sold me his as he stopped putting up anything other than big rounds.  Keep looking, there are a few out there.  Mike

I think the wire twisters were the same as used on NH and alot of other brands. The needles will be different.  MACK
