Does anyone have an old photo of a truck-mounted hammer mill, powered by a Buda or Continental Red Seal engine that could be posted on the discussion page?
thanks,

No  Photo, but a memory of a custom grinder gentleman from Walnut Illinois that had a early to mid 50's Ford with a short frame 2 ton chassis with a mounted Buda stationary engine to run a grain mill to grind ear corn with oats every 2 weeks for our small dairy herd of milking cows.
it would be a 2 straight box and 1 straight box load of oats ground together to last for 2 weeks. his name was Casper Peters!

I  would draw pictures of that setup when I was growing up!

Don't remember what kind of motor it had, but worked for man who had a grinder. Scooped a lot of corn, wheat, oats, and milo in one.          MACK

When I was a small child back in the mid sixties there was a guy who came around and ground feed like that. No pics though.
