Just purchased a TR6 ripper off a HD6G crawler loader, my question is this , can I swap the controls from my loader which has two levers , one to raise bucket and other to tilt bucket, for the 3 lever setup from the donor loader? Looks like it would be a direct swap

Were some discreet variants as to controls types but generally mount the same. Look to your parts guide as well need to replace seals/gasket Under the control going to be used, DO NOT use Silicone on the Old one OR the new one unless you enjoy hydraulic repairs.

Mine had a simple push pull valve from the factory. Push it in and oil went to the loader. Pull it out and the oil went to the scarificer.

I will put it out here, I do have the Second(Donor)7G unit three spool valve off and in my shed, still have the entire tank assembly just not sure how much is usable below that valve.

Does anyone have a parts book that would have a pic of the two control levers versus the three control setup . The donor loader has 8 bolts attaching the three valve setup versus 7 on the two lever setup

Hi D Miller. I would be interested in the three spool valve for my rippers. I currently have the two handle with a bypass valve for the rippers. I always get confussed on what position the lower lever should be in for the tilt versus the rippers.
I Inevitably pick the wrong position and I eithier dump everything in the bucket (always when moving something for expensive for some reason) or I drop the rippers just before I cross the street. So much torque you can hardly notice they are down durring the crossing P.S You can't hide track marks on asphalt by the way, so the county roads department has no trouble tracking you down. Dont ask how i know this ![]() So befor you sell it think hard about your memory and situational awareness skils! |

Leop, what most do not consider is that a stack of old tires and two extra people to shift from behind to in front make great cushion for road crossings, that or used conveyor belting usually available at old power stations and quarry.
I cannot guarantee any functionality on your machine for this valve, the machines generally have internal to hydraulic tank piping as not always an external hose fit, this one is a factory style. Have you looked at the parts guides to be certain will work? |

I did get on Minnpars site, the base mount is the same so the valve should mount and the correct ports align, from there can guarantee nothing. I would have to see $150 plus shipping costs.
