    Posted: 28 Mar 2018 at 9:07am
The little 3 cylinder toyosha diesel engine in my Deutz Allis 5215 lunched out this summer, and I know that finding parts and such for these is like finding a needle in a haystack. But, I lucked out, and found what is supposed to be a good used engine for it at a salvage yard in Wisconsin a few months back. I didn't get it coming then, because funds were low, and figured I would hope that it stayed there until I got my operating money this spring. Well, now I need to get it coming, if it's still there, but Like dumb, I went and lost all of the contact information on it. I can't even remember the name of the salvage yard. I only know that it was in Wisconsin, and was not Heitman's. When I had found the engine previously, I had just done a google search of something like "Toyosha", or "5215", or a combination of some sort, and that used engine came up so quick I couldn't believe it. I even called the place up, talked to a salesman there, he looked, and the engine was right there with all of the vital stats about it and everything. 1,900 bucks, which I was OK with. I wrote down everything; names and number, and put the paper somewhere where I would "know where it was at." Yeah, right. Can't find the paper now, and have been google searching for two hours and can't find anything. I want to say that this salvage yard was in central Wisconsin, but I am not even 100% sure about that. With those vague details, can anyone offer up any help.....? Thanks, Darrel

That googling stuff........Grrrrr. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. They still had the engine, and I got it coming. Darrel

Yes, it runs, has good oil pressure. Not real keen on used engines, but is nothing available for this engine any more by way of parts and such. Darrel
