Hi guys
Wondered if someone could so kind as to help me out with a few torque settings and oil types etc for a 1947 b. I do not have a manual.

What are the torque settings for the oil pan/ sump bolts?

Front wheel hub castle nuts?

Rocker head bolts?

And the oils reservoirs on the rear wheels?

What fluid goes in the rear wheel/ axle reservoirs?

What are recommended tyre pressures? Does no work just take the kids for rides

Cheers

On behalf of Gerald, if there are specs, you should find them here:

many "generic" bolts don't have a torque listed. Most guys who have been around forever just do it "by feel"... you can get a "generic" torque sheet for  grade 5 SAE bolts and use that as a good reference.. Only bolts that really need "torqued to spec" would be inside the motor.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

here are MAX values for each grade of bolt.. Most EXTERNAL bolts would be a grade 5 max.. SOME ARE ONLY GRADE 2......... This chart gives a "grade 3" which is not common, but might be a good value to use on many random bolts.. you don't need to stretch to the MAX.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I'm sure there are engine bolt torque specs and ought to be some for transmission and wheel bolts in the manual I have on line. There are a couple pages of specifications at the beginning of the B section.
