I am considering buying a 220 with a blown (hole in the block) engine. I figured it would cost me $3000 to repair the engine. But i was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy a running engine? In other words, whats the value on a running 3500?

I sold a 670T from a L2 for $1500 and bought a 3500 MK II with an inline injection pump for $2200. This engine was a power unit for a standby water pump and had 82 original hrs. It is in my 220 with the addition of an intercooler. Looks good and works better in there.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed
