So I had my generator rebuilt for my b and when I put it back on I polarized it. One of my questions is, am I supposed to short it out at the filed wire or the other wire coming from the generator? Now my ammeter sits at -15 amps when the tractor is off and only at +2 when the throttle is full open. Could I have a bad regulator or did i polarize it wrong. Also the battery I'm using did get charged by a 12 volt charger accidentally, could that be my problem.
Thanks Peter |
