    Posted: 09 May 2012 at 7:55pm
I just wanted to put up a quick note. I just returned from the visitation for our AC brother John. I spoke to his wife Barb and told her that I was very comfortable in saying that I was there on behalf of all John's friends that wish they could attend his visitation but couldn't for one reason or another (mainly that we are spred out across the nation.

John's wife Barb and family told me that Allen Dilg was there also (I missed Allen) but the point is that the forum was represented and John's family are very aware of how we all felt  about John.         Dennis.

Thank you Dennis. I can say for myself, I still can't believe this. Here today, and gone tomorrow. The Lord knows our hearts, and hears our prayers.

Just got back a little while ago myself. John's FFA jacket, the many pictures of him on his tractors and with his family, and the many arrangments of orange flowers were neat to see in his honor.

Drove over this afternoon to John's visitation. Talked to Barb and John's son Alan for a few minutes. They claim John had not complained about anything, nothing out of the ordinary. Alan said John was digging a post hole when it happened. He looked remarkable and is still hard to believe. Met his father, who appears to be in very good health. Glad to hear other members made it by.

Thank you to all of you for going and representing those of us who were only able to be there in spirit. We have all lost a great friend.

What happened to John?

And thanks for representing us. Just talked to him a few weeks ago about some WD's and 45's. Cant believe we've lost John.

Definitely a great guy who will certainly be missed. Anyone have any information about where we can send condolances?

Sure will miss John, always was a pleasure to hear from him.

Thanks for keeping us informed. His family will be in our prayers.

As Dennis, Pat, and others have said, our Forum was well represented.  I reminded Barb and family that John had SO MANY friends on this site and that their family was in our prayers.

There was a styled WC toy tractor in one of the main flower arrangements.  I'm sure John smiled at that.
