I got the cultivator on the b! I'm excited to try it out. Sure ought to beat tilling.

Looks good. If you have any more pics of the cult setup, let us see them. I have part of the lift assembly on my B, and was wondering what else I needed.

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

Had these handy, so here are pics of one of my Bs with cultivators. I wanted the plow and cultivator, and didn't really need the tractor but that's how it goes... Glockhead, what crops are you planning on cultivating with your B? It looks ready to go! I won't get a chance to use mine for at least another year, but I'm planning on at least some field corn.

Very cool! Good pictures, I am not sure if I have seen a B in person with a cultivator on. Also, your canvas tent, how big is that? And how many ACs you got in there? Good idea, I might be needin to get one myself soon.

Better start lifting weights. Heard those hand lifts can get tiring by the end of the day.

I grow Veggies ranging from beans to pumpkins. Only a couple acres. I hope it cuts down on the tilling and hoing a bit. Besides, it gives me an excuse to have another tractor.
My tent is 12x20. I stored my two b's, narrow front c and narrow front wd45 in it this winter as well as a motorcycle, tiller, and some other small things. Tight fit but keeps them out of the weather till my barn is done. |

I plowed a few acres last year with my c and single bottom trip plow. Towards the end of one section the field is only a hundred foot long. Tricep was burning from pulling the rope. Hydraulics sure are nice!

I tried using my Blue G 1000 with the cultivator like that as well as one AC G and my CA 2 row, but find this guy is still the ticket in my type of soil. I also think it does less damage to the root system of the crop.
I have it mounted on my hydraulic G now, much more user friendly.

We used to have a B with a one row cultivator that I drove to cultivate 20 acres of tomatoes when I was about 12 years old. It had hydralic lift though! Have fun!
I have a C with a 2 row cultivator I have yet to put on it. I am looking for a way to identify it so I can get a book for it. Pastor Mike |

Pastor Mike, the C tractor used a series 80 cultivator. You should be able to find a manual on E-bay, or perhaps from one of our fellow forum members. If you have specific questions, I have both owners and parts manuals that I can refer to. Feel free to PM me. dave |

Hey Glock them weeds don't stand a chance! Nice setup. I cultivate 2 rows with my C. With my twisted shanks I leave a thin row of weeds where they're heavy. I need to get those wider sweeps like you and John have maybe as my mini trenches do not overlap.
