A friend of mine has a 170 AC. I helped him rebuild the break system with new parts, Springs, balls, plates and shoes. It still will not hold the tractor on encline of any sort. Is there a way to enhance the system to have better breaking. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Question?, Is Dr Allis still around?. It is great to be back on the site.
