logchain broke and broke 3windows today.   do most guys just have the local glass guys replace it?    got the rear window, rf quarter glass and rr drawbar glass.   i know the local guys can do the small windows with flat glass; I don't know if the back window is that way.

If it is flat glass they should be able to make one. If I remimber it right there is some holes that need to be drilled in that rear window, some glass shops won't try when they have to drill holes because of the chance of making a mistake and ruining the glass.

the front glass and rr drawbar glass are fairly easy to do.  There is a way to use a fine screwdriver or dull knife to seperate the rubber mounting then it comes out pretty easy, then just reverse the process to go back.  I have gotten glass out of salvage tractors when I have had to replace them on mine.  I had the right front top glass get broken on my 7060, glass shop wanted $60 or so to make one, got one for $50 from the salvage yard, had it back in place in about 30 minutes.

Agco dealer has an aftermarket rear window for $170, rear drawbar glass for $25 but no availibilty on the front quarter glass.  called local glass dude and they can make both windows and install; now waiting to see the cost.
