I have a 7000 maroon belly, the rpm is going crazy at idle sometime. It revs up and down on its own,it even stalled itself once.I read a past post and somebody mentioned something about rubber O rings in the injector pump govenor,is this a costly job if I take the pump off myself? Thanks Tony

If your thinking governor flex ring, your DM doesn't use that setup. Odds are air is entering the fuel system at the pump inlet or hand primer.

If it still has the small plastic line coming from top of tank to pump. replace it with one coming from bottom of tank to pump. May also need gov. linkage cleaned in pump. MACK
