my allis b s/n b50136 has final drives with wheel studs that hold the center hub in place
and clamps that hold the wheel rim in place.
is this the right final drive or has someone change it out at some time
i can't get any history on this tractor

Allis Bs had three distinctly different factory final drive assemblies. The most common is the wheel center hub is splined and is held to the splined axle with 1 big nut. The other has a 5 bolt flanged axle like a C and uses a C style reversable hub. The one not often seen but not rare uses a splined adapter hub held to the splined axle 1 big nut. The Adapter allows a reversable 5 hole semi dished wheel center to be used. The bolt circle is the same as a C.
All AC B&C rims used rim clamps. 2 regular and 2 excentrics. Standard 4 loop rims will work without the clamps.

The logical answer may not be the right answer.
If the rear tread is adjustable by reversing the dish on the 5 bolt hubs/wheels. The front axle should also be one of the adjustable types.
The B is considered a one row tractor capable of tread adjustment widths from 38'' to 65'' with the correct tread adjustment options.
