Hello Everyone,

I am from Northern Utah. My Dad (passed away a few years ago) picked up this HD-11E for his construction business about 30 years ago. After he got it, he repainted it to the Construction Yellow and maintained and operated it for the remainder of his years with his business. A few weeks ago, I went and topped off all the fluids and put some new batteries in it and it started right up! The ol' dozer still runs like a dream!
I brought it home to move a little dirt for a project and to give it some TLC. It has sat for a few years, and the finals are leaking a little bit, the rams are leaking a little hydraulic fluid. The other thing is that the friction section for the throttle won't hold the throttle in place anymore, to bypass this we have used a pair of trusty vice grips to hold the throttle.
My dad and his mechanic friend (who has also passed away) did all the maintenance and fixing for stuff like this on this machine. I've tried to look for his service manuals but have had no luck.
In short, I guess what I'm asking for is any advice on how to address the friction section on the throttle and how extensive would it be to go through and fix the small leaks for the finals and the hydraulics? Also open to any other information as far as gotcha's, what to look out for's, tips & tricks, or anything else for the HD-11E's.
Any info would be awesome and much appreciated!

Thanks!
