Always so thankful for the knowledge on this site. A shout out to my buddy Tim, we both are doing some work on our D14’s and have shared our stories of our repairs. My wheel clamps were frozen solid from 63 years in the same location. Tim suggested putting them in a wood stove to heat up for a few hours and they would come loose. An idea I have never heard of. Well, I put them in my wood stove for 2 hours. Pulled them out one at a time and wow, with little effort they came apart. In 30 minutes all 8 were apart. That kind of knowledge is so important and wanted to pass it along. Maybe others have done this but it was a first for me. Thanks Tim!
