Must be running like a Swiss watch! Over the last couple nights, we got about 5-6 inches of the white fluffy crap. Suppose some would call it purdy; I don't. Some ole guy in town said that at the end of next week, we are supposed to get really dumped on; same type system out of Colorado that dumped a metric ton of it on us last spring. Hope it stays south, and maybe just hits people in eastern Nebraska that really like it. Darrel

It is very dry. Snow will no doubt help, but this snow is so powdery, that I don't think that it'll even make mud when it melts Darrel

Buzz word at the coffee shop is that we may get dumped on heavily this week 😢😥 Some say the majority of it could land east of us; others say it is going to land smack dab on top of us 🙄🙄 Forecast has big chance of snow for the first four days of next week. Won't be taking any chances, going to get the cows moved close to home. Would much rather be prepared and have it miss us, then the other way around. Seems like all too often, I get caught in the "unprepared" category. Probably going to get the snow blower back on the tractor today too. Have fun, Shameless, making lives miserable 🙄🙄😥😥😢😢‼️ Lol Darrel

Low 40's here and raining. We have gone from drought conditions to being too wet to drive across the fields. Keep all that purdy out in Nebraska. But Ole Shameless would need two turbos on that machine to get me at the farm. | |

Hold that thought, OUR Weather Liars noted today that WE here in the central Midwest may see as much as EIGHT INCHES of Pretty late Next Week.  Just in time for Xmas. And Shammers continues to throw that gift that keeps on giving!

| Shamerz done got lots of persons up here mad... Specially the local
power company linemen... They won't be gettin home till maybe tomorrow
sometime. They were on the job 6AM and they just got juice back on here
at 7:30 pm and they were headed to a new area to get power on there.
Dang rain, ice and 6-8 inches of snow.  Only thing saving the day was it
warmed up to about 33 +/- and wasn't blowing a hundret miles an hour. Think I better get a 10 or 15kv generator to replace the old farm generator that burnt some windings up.

We got feet in the mountains west of me and blizzards east of me (I76 is still closed).  We didn't get a flake, unless you consider the Shameless's stockholder that lives about 3 miles from me...

Weather man didn't predict this very accurately at all, but there must be some people with a little "inside information" or something, who said to "hunker down, it's going to get deep!" Same people are saying that we are going to get two more just like this one yet this year Darrel

aw shucks Darrel, we've had where people with shovels had to go ahead of the snowblowers on the highways so they didn't grind the cars up. and i've driven on the other roads where we drive down a trench of snow higher than my straight truck! i've driven in blizzards for over 40 years, both in 2-wh drive and 4-wh drive vehicles. the old lady.....ooooops....I mean the loving wife would wait for me to get home, hand me a cup of coffee and off we'd go, driving in the blizzard I just drove thru getting home! we loved it! and since we had our vehicles equipped better than most, we could really screw with the cops in town! lol

Oh yeah, Shameless. I was no stranger to having "blizzard fun" in my younger days. Could tell you stories for hours. One night, sitting in my home town of Golva, ND, partying er up, road closure report came on, one of the roads that was closed was between Beach (town, not the seashore) and Golva. Guess where we headed to? But in my older age after having to work out in the cold and snow, and realizing the costs, monetarily and in an occasional life lost, I have decided that blizzards aren't all that much fun anymore. Few inches of purdy once in a while is perfectly fine, but this two to three feet at a time is getting old. Darrel
