has passed away, at age 93.
A founding member of Manheim Steamroller, in 1974.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Always a shame to lose a talented individual.  I liked his early stuff, and the Steamroller, too!


To clarify a bit, Chip Davis and Bill Fries collaborated on the C W McCall stuff, Davis later founded Manheim Steamroller.  None the less, Rest in peace merry gentleman.Wink

Chip lives south of me about 15 miles, when i worked at the Sheriff's office in this county, his wife would make up cookies at Christmas time. she was a good cook!
