Spoke on this a while(Several Years) back, where had been running into real silver quarters and dimes at local gas stations/quick shops, and that the checkers even approached me as to being real money.  Well I dare say have not found much of any in a LONG time now even as ran across a single silver dime two weeks ago so the Millennial Flood gates appear to have closed again!!

Presume the Old Folks have all died off now and the estate furniture droppings have been used up as been sold off.

think everyone is now aware silver coinage is worth more than face now and it's been years since it's been seen around here .
Back in 1972 I use to collect coins and had around $4,000 in silver coins and several fairly complete collections along with stock I  sold and traded worth another $6,000 - along with other jewelry - 2 wedding diamonds - class rings and several other valuables
Seems someone wanted it more than I did - broke in house and broke into safe in the hour wife was gone . (had to be watching for her to leave)
So decided a HD5G and dump truck would be harder to carry off - gave up on coins
Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.
