    Posted: 23 Dec 2020 at 9:10pm
I am looking for the part number for the small piece on the right side in each of these pictures.  I am trying to describe it to someone who is not on the internet, and not having much luck.  The part number would solve my dilemma.  I couldn't find it on the AGCO site or in the book I have.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is the angled piece here...

It’s called a “tie strap” in the plow assembly manual, but not shown or part number given in any of my plow or lift assembly manuals. That picture is one I did for someone maybe 15 years ago, where did you find that?

I saw it posted up here years ago and saved it to my computer.  I knew it was a part that I needed for mine.  Now is the time for me to do something about it.

Thanks Joe!

Just be certain you put one on when plowing  Without it you can damage the lift arm.
Good Luck!

I also have a G with a plow and after seeing that photo, checked my own machine. That part is missing on my tractor also. In my case, the lift arm has been broken in the past and has been repaired with a pretty ugly weld at the spot where that part bolts on. The bolt hole has been obscured by the weld.
It is hard to tell from the photo what the other end attaches to.It looks like it would not be too hard to fabricate that part if you had the dimentions. Can anyone provide some measurements for that part and maybe some additional photos?
I'm a man...and I can change...if I have to... I guess.

Duh...Embarrassed After looking a bit closer, I see that there are some dimensions included in the first photos. Shouldn't be too hard to fabricate that part, if I can figure out exactly where it attaches. Additional photos would help a lot. Thanks.

Thanks Joe. Now we're talking. A picture is sometimes worth 1000 words.
