How hard is it to change out a single speed 540 to dual speed 540/1000 PTO on a 185 and or 6060? I'm pretty confident the 185 is just finding a donor parts but was 1000 even offered on a 6060? Just listening to my 185 on the generator and being able to run the tractor at half speed instead of PTO speed would be nice.

Unless you have other uses for the 1000 rpm shaft, a gear box on the generator trailer seems like an approach that will work.
