If a person has used parts sitting on shelves/in cubby holes-wherever, are there part #'s stamped into whatever parts/pieces that's stored? I'm not talking "NOS" boxed parts, just parts (useable) that have been removed for one reason or another. Thanks

Some times the numbers that are "casted" on part isn't the actual number that you would find in parts books

never seen a part number on a part,just casting numbers if any
