We run a '79 F2 with the 433. Today was out at the farm getting equipment lubed,adjusted and otherwise tweaked. As I was blowing out the pleated paper filter in the canister under the engine cover, I glanced up to the MAIN inlet "bonnet" with the wrap around screen held on with 2 velcro straps. I must admit that I've never had that screen off (it's not dirty) but now wonder if there's a filter above the aspirator tube that needs  cleaned ?? Thanks

No, most machines have an inner and outer filter in the canister and that's all.

My F2 (78) only has single paper filter. Has that dirt collector on top with aspirator  tube connected.
